Disc & Applicator

I really wanted to love this, it just didnt work for my body. I couldn't get the plunger part to work without 2 hands. The 1st time, the pull cord got stuck between the applicator and plunger, so when I took it out, the whole thing came out. So I tried again. I wasnt sure if it was in far enough; I put it in like a normal tampon but I could still push it further if that makes sense. Maybe I inserted it too far because i couldnt find the pull string at all and had to search for it. Once I found it, i was able to tug it a little so it was out, but then I was afraid to move because I didnt want it to leak, and then I tried to self-empty and it...fell out? My gyne always has a difficult time *finding* anything during exams, so maybe this just doesn't work for me?

I have been watching this creator when this product was just a prototype. I was able to purchase this product and it arrived just in time for my cycle. The ease and comfort of use the reusable disc and applicator is amazing! I hated the guessing game of if I placed my disc correctly it will I be ruining another pair of underwear. This completely eliminated it and minimized the mess. Now, I tried it day 1 of my period and I usually go through several ultra super tampons through out the day. The disc held capacity so well, I was truly impressed. Not a single ultra super tampon was used! This will now be a staple period product for me.

I have used a cup for years, but the suction was really starting to bother me. I wanted to try a disc. My first try was a nixit. That did NOT work. It was too big and too soft. I have had 2 kids, but by c-section. I have a pretty heavy flow for 3 days. I wasnt sure what size fillow disc to get- small or large. After emailing customer service, I decided on a small. The applicator for this is a game changer. You dont have to get your hands all nasty when inserting, but then on the flip side, you have this extra applicator in your bathroom. Lol. I just put it in a little plastic container to dry between uses and set it out of sight. I had so many issues trying to get the nixit in, but I'm not kidding, the first try with this applicator, it went exactly in place and it fit, and stayed in! I hardly had any leaks. I always had leaks with a cup. I loved that I cant feel it inside when im wearing it. There is a long string, but that didnt bother me like I saw the period nirvana lady say it did her. I like the string because it helps pulling it out with less mess. It is messy coming out, but I'm okay with that. I had the best period in a long time thanks to Fillow!

I received this just in time this month and haven’t used a single other period product since I started. No period panties, liners, or pads. Somehow it self-empties when I pee but doesn’t leak any other time. I feel smarter than all my friends and amazed by this team of innovators. Great job ladies!

The disc stays in, does its job like any other brand of disc. The only issue is putting it in. It has such intense friction in the applicator when trying to push the plunger that it takes two hands and a lot of struggle just to push it through. The applicator also feels very cheap.
I am also upset that I paid full price for this and had to wait half a year to receive it but people who are just now ordering it and don't have the long wait get it at a discount.
